The context. A firm onboarding collaborators in Madagascar needed to prevent hardware logistics, workstation management, and banking portal geo-blocking from becoming operational bottlenecks.

Our work. We designed an Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure hosted in Canada, with adjustable capacity, shared workstations where appropriate, and automated startup and shutdown controls.

The outcome. Teams work in a secure Canadian environment that is easier to manage remotely, better suited to tax-season peaks, and more controlled financially.

The context. A migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 was also an opportunity to regain control over access, endpoints, phones, and confidential client data.

Our work. We deployed Intune, Defender, attack surface reduction rules, zero trust principles, sensitivity labels, encryption, and Autopilot for ready-to-use workstations.

The outcome. The firm gains a more governed environment where new laptops configure automatically and data access stays controlled, even on personal devices.

The context. Some firms keep on-premise infrastructure only for Caseware, DTMax, Taxprep, or software whose cloud version does not yet cover every operational requirement.

Our work. We built secure Azure environments accessible from the office, home, or a shared workspace, without a traditional VPN by using Global Secure Access.

The outcome. The firm keeps its production tools without freezing its work model or investing heavily in local servers and network equipment.

The context. Hidden work items and contacts in KarbonHQ can become inaccessible when an account is deactivated, creating a blind spot that the interface cannot always resolve.

Our work. We reviewed processes and created an automation that maintains a Super Admin with access to critical work, even when items are hidden.

The outcome. The firm reduces invisible areas in engagement management and protects operational continuity during departures or role changes.

The context. In a hybrid firm, opening hours, transfers, peak periods, and employee movement can quickly make traditional telephony feel rigid.

Our work. We implemented Teams Phone with custom menus, schedules, call queues, voicemail, generic service numbers, and simple number reassignment.

The outcome. Calls reach the right teams faster, staffing changes are easier to absorb, and the client experience feels more structured.

The context. Accounting system migrations often expose double entry, poor visibility, and integrations that were never designed around daily use.

Our work. We support migrations, platform connections, and targeted automations that make existing systems more effective in real workflows.

The outcome. The firm reduces operational friction and gets tools that better match its processes without adding unnecessary complexity for the team.

The context. Without a clear architecture, SharePoint can create unclear access, weak document search, and client data governance that is difficult to defend.

Our work. We design sites, metadata, JSON templates, Power Automate workflows, client file statistics, and role matrices tied to employee movement.

The outcome. The firm uses SharePoint as a governance platform, with procedural access controls better aligned with CPA order expectations and Quebec Law 25.
